Thursday June 5 is World Environment Day, and to celebrate, as part of the Climate Heroes project, we are having a No-Waste Lunch on the day. Mark it on your calendar!

Time: (Pick an hour timeslot during the day that suits your workplace)
Location: Office tea room, courtyard or a nearby park
What: Bring a plate to share, in a reusable container – with no disposable wrappings – and bring cutlery and a travel mug from home, or use the cutlery in the kitchenette, rather than using disposable options.

Bring your own lunch in a reusable container – with no disposable wrappings – and bring cutlery and a travel mug from home, or use the cutlery in the kitchenette, rather than using disposable options.

At the lunch I will be introducing the ‘Office Waste Challenge’, in which we’ll compete with other Climate Hero offices until the end of June, by reducing our material waste. We could win an ecofriendly
prize for the kitchenette! 

If you can’t make the shared lunch, you can still participate as part of World Environment Day by bringing your own lunch in a reusable container.
