Sustainable Home Caboolture opens
The latest demonstration home in Queensland’s Smart and Sustainable Homes Program has officially opened in Caboolture.
Sustainable Home Caboolture is an example of sustainable design for the Australian suburban setting adapting the traditional ‘project home’ style.
The home was built following the Department of Public Works ‘Smart and Sustainable Homes’ principles which are based on the triple-bottom-line concept of economic, social and environmental sustainability.
Sustainable Home Caboolture is open to the public every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 4 pm until the end of the year. The house will be open on Thursdays for group bookings made by appointment only.
