The QPSU newsroom (www.qpsu.org.au/news/news.php) is regularly updated with news items across a range of campaigns, industrial issues, agencies, public sector concerns, union news and other news.  Items are generally being added every day and sometimes a few items are added in a single day.

In the past, QPSU members could join a list to receive an automated notification whenever an item was added to the newsroom.

As of 14 July 2010, subscribers can specify whether they want to receive all notifications or just notifications that belong to a specific category (eg that relate to the agency / the employer where they work).  In practice, this means you can control what categories of auto-notifications that you want to receive.  At any time, you can change your subscription by following the link in the footer of auto-notification items or by visiting http://qpsu.org.au/news/subscriber-login.php.

Over the coming months we will be further refining this facility to make it even more useful for subscribers.

If you have any comments on, or suggested enhancements to, the auto-notification list, please send an email to alex@qpsu.org.  If you encounter any technical difficulties with the list, please send an email to webmaster@qpsu.org

We hope you enjoy this latest addition to the QPSU newsroom.
