From one end of the State to the other, QPSU members and delegates are fighting to maintain and improve our pay and conditions. We campaign for better jobs, better funding and better public services. Campaigning is a hugely important part of what we do as a union - as shown by our recent successes. As a result, there can be a steady flow of news, updates, information and notices.

QPSU members march for a fairer wages deal

It is vital that we keep up to date on the latest news and developments, because even when an activity or event does not appear to relate to us directly, it may affect the sector as a whole.

Our recent wages campaign has shown that we are at our strongest when we act together as a whole union. That is why it is so important that members keep up to date with what is happening, and support other members even when a campaign doesn't seem to directly relate to you or your agency.

Whilst there can be other sources of news (e.g. from the agencies or in the media), the QPSU provides up to date and accurate information to its members on the issues, along with what it can mean for members and our services.

From this section of the QPSU web site you can access our newsroom, links to our active major campaigns, and previous editions of the popular UMail (the email-based newsletter for QPSU members.)
